Augmented reality clothesline

What is augmented reality

Augmented reality is a technology that superimposes a computer-generated image on a user's view of the real world, thus providing a composite view. You can see the object in real size and examine the item from every view point up close and in detail.

The good news is a selection of Breezecatcher clothesline models can now be viewed in AR on any ARcore/ARKit  enabled smart phone or mobile device. The bad news is not all mobile devices are AR ready. If you have an iOS (iPhone or iPad) your device will need to be ARKit enabled (iOS 11), if you use an Android operating system your device needs to be ARcore ready.

Based on Apple's guidelines, here are the iOS devices that will be able to run ARKit apps:

  • iPhone 6s and 6s Plus
  • iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
  • iPhone SE
  • iPhone 8 and 8 Plus
  • iPhone X
  • iPad Pro (the 10.5-inch model, 12.9-inch model and the older 9.7-inch model)
  • iPad (2017)

Devices using Android need to be ARcore ready, there are way too many smart phones and mobile devices running the Android operation system to list here so we recommend you check for your device at the link below.

What is 3D

If you are using a PC or a MAC to view our products you should see a three-dimensional display that allows you to rotate the clothesline and zoom in or out. This will allow you to see every detail on the clothesline and examine the product up close.

Note: Not all products have AR and 3D models available.
