Follow-Up Review on previous one written

After receiving a phone call from 'Tom' telling me the reason why I could not open the Breezecatcher because the washing cord may have been twisted or caught on one of the branches, I took a look and found that the cords were hooked over the metal branch. After unhooking the cords and making sure that they were not twisted or too tight I proceeded to push the Breezecatcher open. Thanks to Tom's phone call I can now dry my sheets in the outside sun (well clouds now...), and I can wholeheartedly recommend this spinning line now that I can use it!

CANNOT OPEN IT!

I bought the Breezecatcher a year ago. Managed to open it once... I took it indoors and never used it again. I've taken it out for the summer in the hopes of being able to dry my sheets in the wind, only to find that we cannot open it, it only slides halfway up the pole.
Three of us tried to slide the it up the pole to the clip - we couldn't do it. Perhaps someone from the company can give us some tips as to how it will open! I've tried oiling the pole and the metal parts where it is supposed to slide up, but to no avail. Would appreciate some feedback from the company because this was NOT a cheap item to buy.

99.999% of the time this issue is caused by the cord catching on one of the brace arms when the dryer is opening. Because the cord is steel core there is no stretch so the dryer will not open. Also a tip when storing the dryer is to use a strap to wrap around the dryer to keep all the cord in place and tidy, or use a storage cover to protect the cord. Best way to fix this issue is to open the dryer out as far as you can, then just walk around the dryer and make sure all the rows and cord is free and hanging equally in each section with some slack so it is free to move when the dryer opens.

We spoke with WA after seeing the review and this advice resolved the problem. Thank you WA for reaching out and your email to confirm the problem was resolved.

The best laundry rack

Our first one lasted about 15 yrs. before the wind took it and bent it. Before that it was fantastic. Now our second one is even better though it was a bit hard to unfurl as the lines got tangled. Took 10 min. or so to figure that out but is now fully functioning. I do wonder if the lines could have been better wrapped to avoid tangling but it could also have been my fault.

Nice line . Hard to open

Really like the clothesline. Well built . Good quality materials. Only issue is its very difficult to open. Have tried everything, loosing lines, armour all on the pipe, sanding and polishing the pipe. Nothing seems to help. My wife cant open it. It is progressively getting harder to open. We have decided to just leave it open and close it when its very windy
